The " Floating Muletrax ", is the latest development in the Multi-purpose tractor category: it is an amphibious tractor able to operate on marshy terrain, float and move easily also where there is deep water. The machine can be equipped with a crane as well as a removable platform on which different equipment can be mounted such as welding equipment, containers for repairs and maintenance, refuelling tanks, etc.
The upper structure is the main section of our well-known Muletrax 3000 which can be removed and installed on a standard undercarriage in only a few hours. With this system, the same frame can be used on different types of carriages to meet all our clients’ requirements.
In order to work on marshy and water-laden terrain, the "Floating Muletrax" undercarriage is designed with tracked pontoons that, even fully loaded, always keep the tractor above the waterline.
