This machine has been designed for lining up pipes before welding.
The pipe is fastened and then lifted by means of four hydraulic arms driven by an engine with hydraulic pump and controlled via a simple radio control;
another major feature of this machine is its ability to rotate the pipe in clockwise or anticlockwise direction to
position the weld lengthwise as required. The rotation of the bar along its axis is achieved by a set of powered
polyurethane-coated rollers, also radio-controlled, designed to rotate the pipe - including bends – and then hold
it in the desired position. In addition to reducing lifting and lining-up times, this machine will operate without
the need for two workers to position and fasten the choker belt, thus increasing workplace safety.

| Line-up hydraulic slide |
This skid is designed for use on steep slopes where pipe-laying tractors cannot work and when
the cost of installation of a cableway is not justified. The skid runs on solid rubber wheels and
has been built to run inside the trench, supported and driven by a winch located ahead of it.
The pipe is placed on the two rubber coated saddles and fastened to them with straps, then
the sled is lowered along the slope inside the trench. When it arrives in position, a generator
starts the motor on the skid and with its hydraulic system the pipe can be raised or lowered
crosswise to align the pipe for clamping.

Hydraulic internal clamp for
large diameter pipes
(the photo shows the 100" type)
This internal clamp for large diameter
pipes (from 80” up) is equipped with 3
hydraulic cylinder crowns that expand
one by one at the same time with synchronized
stroke of the separate cylinders.
An electric motor drives the hydraulic
pumps.
Four rubberized motor-driven wheels
drive it inside the pipe and for safety
reasons the personnel assigned to the
works can pass through its chassis. It
is also equipped with a hydraulic winch
so as to work and move safely even
on an incline.
