These crushing machines are designed to work in the trench to produce the padding/bedding by crushing rocky materials that must be left on the bottom of the trench in a specific quantity. These self-propelled machines are radio-controlled and work at an operating speed of 150-200 linear metres/h, leaving behind a layer of approximately 20 cm of fine padding material, of which the particle size can be varied by replacing the screen at the hammer mill outlet. The minimum reccommended particle size is 0-15 mm.
Grub 2000
These self-propelled radio-controlled crushing machines are designed to crush the excavated material, they are equipped with a transversal conveyor that unloads the crushed fine material directly into the centre of the trench. Their output ranges from 40 to 60 cubic metres/h for Grub 2000, and from 60 to 90 cubic metres/h for Grub 3000.

This last generation self-propelled crushing machine is unique in its kind. Thanks to its loading system and hammer crusher with interchangeable bar screen, it can reach an output of over 150 cubic metres/h in optimum operating conditions. Also this machine is radio-controlled, which enables the operator to work with perfect visibility of the loaded material and of the fine material unloaded in the trench by the transversal conveyor.
Vibrating screen machine mounted on idle tracks equipped with a high frequency vibration generator that enables the screening of the most difficult materials without clogging problems. The machine must be pulled by a tractor and loaded by an excavator, or it can be pulled and loaded by the same excavator according to the operating conditions. This type of machine is particularly suitable for mountain areas with frequent slope changes.
Self-propelled radio-controlled vibrating screen machine with tracked undercarriage. This machine is equipped with a large hopper and an apron feeder that meters the flow of material on the vibrating screen. The fine material is dropped into the trench by a conveyor belt. This machine is particularly versatile and suitable for any type of terrain and track, for connections and sections with large trenches.
Self-loading, self-propelled and radio-controlled vibrating screen machine. Thanks to its radiocontrol, the operator can control all functions from a safety distance and from a position guaranteeing the best possible visibility of the loaded material and of the fine material unloaded in the trench by the transversal conveyor. This is the most frequently used machine in large projects characterised by long sections without remarkable morphological soil variations. In these conditions, high outputs of up to 250 cubic metres/h can be achieved with material having a particle size that can vary from 0-5 mm upwards according to the grid used. Thanks to a metal rear conveyor that collects the waste material and unloads it laterally on the other side of the trench, this type of machine is suitable for “team work” (i.e. with two, three or more machines working in a sequence) if several passes with a very high output are required to cover the pipe and a very high daily pipe backfilling has to be achieved.
