SELFLOADING CRUSHER
This machine consists basically of a heavy-duty steel frame mounted on a tracked undercarriage. The loading unit is on the front part of the machine and it has chain conveyor, with three chains sliding on Hardox wear plates. This part of the machine collects ahd charges the excavated material from the spoil alongside the trench.
The loader it is equipped with 1500mm wide scraper blades fixed to the chains and it presents the possibility of being lifted or lowered during working operations.
The crusher mouth is placed at the top of the chain conveyor, where the material falls into the hammer mill.
The fine crushed material, crushed falls onto a transversal conveyor wich unloads the material sideways into the trench. The conveyor can be moved laterally , to reach the trench even when the machine is positioned away from it, and unload the material in the centre of it.
An hydraulic system allow the conveyor to be folded up for the transport.
The engine, a Caterpillar type Cat C16 ATAAC 600Hp@2000rpm and 12 water-cooled cylinders, is located in the front upper part of the machine, aove the loading unit.
It features easy access for inspection and maintenance. The engine is protected by a sound-reducing case and meets all the international standards on noise and exhaust emissions.
The sound-reducing case also houses:
- Variable-displacement hydraulics pumps controlling translation, loading unit and hammer mill;
- Fixed-displacement hydraulics pumps controlling, transversal coneyor and hdraulc cylinders;
- Heat exchanger on one side;
- Diesel fuel tank is on the other side of the engine.
Under the loading unit we have:
- Electrical panel inclding radio receiver;
- The hydraulic oil tank is placed behind the sound-reducing case.
The machine it is equipped with hydraulc components as well as hydraulic hoses suitable to work on low temperature weather conditions. The machine is fully operated by radio. Every movement, from switching-on to the translation, is operated by means of a radio control which the operator can carry over his shoulder while keeping at a safe distance. In the case of radio interference there is also the possibility to control the machine with an hard wire (20Mt in total) directly connected between the transmitter and the receiver.
