The vibrating screen has 6 square meters ( 65 square foot) of working surface, which guarantees good production. It is equipped with a special high frequency vibration generator, that enables good performance even with wet material, avoiding clogging problems.
The fine screened material falls on a conveyor belt, one meter width (3.3 FT), with dual directional operation, for side material unloading. This conveyor belt unloads material in both sides of the machine as needed, and it is adjustable to unload material, in the center of the trench for bedding or padding, from different distances.
The SUPERSCREEN 2000 padding machines, are the best and more economical application for padding, to work in limited space, passing over the spoil, in steep slopes and wet material conditions.
*Example for 10mm grids:
The production, meant as the material that can be used for padding, is especially determined by the percentage of material smaller than 10mm contained in the accumulated earth to be treated. For example: backfill material made up of 50% of 1-10mm material and 50% of over 10mm material. The production that an excavator can reach when loading the screen continuously by means of a 2m³ bucket is approximately 360m³/hour (3 full buckets per minute). Supposing that the screen rejects 50% of the material, the effective production would be about 180m³/hour.
A trench for a 12" pipe normally requires, for padding and backfilling, between 0.6 and 1m³ of material per linear meter according to whether the trench has been dug using an excavator or a trencher. In the above mentioned case, the average production per hour would be 200 linear meters, corresponding to 1600meters/day in 8 working hours. The production may change (i.e. diminish) in case of remarkable humidity of the material.
However, our screen can continue operating in wet conditions unlike the machines of our competitors. A further advantage of Superscreen 2000 is that it can carry out the bedding whilst operating on the track along the pipe which still has to be laid down, because the machine can be lifted up at will and the transversal conveyor belt can pass over the pipe without any problem. This is particular useful in case of trees or other obstacles preventing the passage on the spoil.
