In 2025, Laurini Officine Meccaniche celebrated 70 years by launching Settanta, a multifunctional excavator fully designed and built in Italy. The machine is modular and versatile, suitable for demolition, excavation, lifting, sheet piling, and pipe handling, with an automatic hydraulic quick-coupling system. The Pipeliner version features a liftable cab, variable-width undercarriage, and integration with the Deckhand® system, developed by LaValley Industries, for safer and more efficient pipe operations. With a 33-ton operating weight and a 350 HP SCANIA engine, Settanta delivers performance comparable to a 45-ton excavator while remaining compact and easy to transport. Settanta embodies the combination of tradition, innovation, and Italian craftsmanship, projecting Laurini’s vision into the future of construction mechanization.
