Skid for pipe laying and alignment designed for trench lengths on steep slopes where standard pipe-layers tractors cannot be employed. The skid frame is equipped with solid rubber wheels and outfitted with two polyurethane coated saddles where the pipe is laid and fastened. The skid, positioned in the trench bottom, is held by a winch placed ahead that lowers the skid till the required position. The saddles are equipped with hydraulic cylinders to adjust the pipe alignment. The hydraulic system is operated by a stroke engine installed on the skid frame.
