Laurini among the finalists at the World Demolition Awards in the Plant & Equipment category

The World Demolition Summit is the leading international event for the demolition, decontamination, and recycling industries. Organized by Demolition & Recycling International in collaboration with the European Demolition Association (EDA), the National Demolition Association (NDA), and the National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC), the event will take place in Nashville (USA) from November 3 to 5, 2025.
During the summit, top global experts will gather to share experiences, technological innovations, and best practices, addressing key topics such as sustainability, safety, automation, and new technologies. The highlight of the event is the prestigious World Demolition Awards, which celebrate excellence and innovation among industry leaders worldwide.
The Plant & Equipment category
Among the various award sections, a prominent role is played by the Plant & Equipment category, dedicated to companies that have excelled in developing cutting-edge machinery and equipment for demolition. This category showcases the industry’s ability to innovate fleets, enhance operational efficiency, and improve safety on worksites.
This year, three major industry names have been shortlisted as finalists:
- Laurini Officine Meccaniche, a symbol of Italian engineering and know-how applied to demolition and earthmoving;
- Caterpillar, the U.S.-based multinational and global leader in earthmoving machinery and construction solutions;
- American DND, a U.S. company specializing in demolition and technological innovation for industrial equipment.
A prestigious recognition
Being shortlisted as a finalist in the Plant & Equipment category represents a highly prestigious international recognition for Laurini. Standing alongside industry giants such as Caterpillar and American DND confirms the level of excellence achieved by the Italian company, which successfully combines innovation, construction quality, and customer-focused solutions in the demolition and recycling sectors.
The winners will be announced on November 5, 2025, during the official World Demolition Awards ceremony in Nashville.
